About Elijah
Elijah joined Schirger Feierabend LLC in 2025 after serving as a law clerk for Judge Jeffrey W. Bates of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District. As a clerk, he handled a wide variety of cases encompassing many areas of civil and criminal law. Elijah’s prior experiences include internships for Judge Matthew T. Schelp of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the St. Louis City Counselor’s office, and the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office.
Elijah received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. While at WashU Law, he earned Dean’s List recognition and served as Executive Notes Editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy. Prior to law school, he majored in history as an undergraduate at WashU, earning his bachelor’s degree with college honors.
Elijah is a native of Overland Park, Kansas, and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School.
